Anna Park

Violin

Violinist Anna Park studied with Professor Hyo Kang at Juilliard’s Pre-College Division at age 13, where she learned many solo pieces and developed a keen interest and extensive repertoire in chamber music. She received her bachelor’s and master’s degrees at Juilliard and was the recipient of many scholarships including the Samsung Award and the Korean Cultural Service New York Scholarship. In 2010, she won first prize at the Eastern Connecticut Symphony Orchestra Competition. As a member of the Sejong String Orchestra, Ms. Park regularly performed and toured with the group internationally. With Sejong she has collaborated with many distinguished artists such as Robert Blocker, Sasha Cooke, Gil Shaham, Orli Shaham, Helen Huang, Elmar Oliveira and Jian Wang. Ms. Park is currently running a successful private studio in Manhattan and teaching actively at the Arete Music Academy in New Jersey.
